Luanda: The 13th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries was held

The 13th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries was held in Luanda on 16 and 17 June, at which the Republic of Serbia, which has the status of an associated observer, was also represented.

On that occasion, the letter of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, to the Angolan Foreign Minister Téte António, was handed over by the special envoy of the Minister Veljko Lazić, who also conveyed the greetings of the head of Serbian diplomacy and wishes for the successful chairmanship of the organization in the coming period.

At the meeting with the Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs, excellent bilateral relations between the two countries were confirmed and the readiness for further strengthening of cooperation was expressed.

During the Summit, the representatives of Serbia had courteous meetings with the representatives of other member states, which confirmed the determination of our country to improve relations and cooperation with the Lusophone countries in all areas of common interest.
