Political relations
On 4 May 2017 the Government of the Republic of Serbia established 25 May as the Day of Friendship with the Peoples of Africa.
Relations with Benin are insufficiently developed. Good cooperation was achieved during the active participation of Serbia in the Non-Aligned Movement.
Economic relations
In 2020, exports amounted to 163,000 euros, while there were no imports. During 2019 exports to Benin amounted to 148,000 euros, while imports amounted to 4,000 euros.
