Political relations

Bilateral relations are traditionally good and friendly. As part of its anti-colonial policy, SFRY has supported Botswana’s struggle for independence from the very beginning.

The previous President of the Republic T. Nikolić awarded the President of Botswana at the time I. Kama with the Order of the Republic of Serbia on a Ribbon in 2016.

Economic relations

According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, total trade in goods with the Republic of Botswana in 2025 amounted to EUR 80 thousand, of which exports from the Republic of Serbia accounted for EUR 1 thousand and imports for EUR 79 thousand.
