Political relations

The political and economic cooperation of Serbia and Denmark is at a good level, with continous growth and no open issues, except for the Danish recognition of the UDIK. The previous Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark A. Samuelsen visited Belgrade in November 2018, meeting the President of the Republic of Serbia A. Vučić, Prime Minister A. Brnabić, and the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs at the time I. Dačić.

Economic relations

During the period from January to November 2020 exports have amounted to 55.4 million euros, while the value of imports for the same period amounted to 142.7 million euros. Some of the largest Danish companies present in our market are: Carlsberg, Grundfos (largest global manufacturer of circular pumps; in 2013 they opened a factory in Inđija and invested 50 million euros, one of the largest investments in the region), ERGOMADE, with an investment of over one million euros in a furniture factory near Niš in 2009, JYSK, Novo Nordisk, VELUX and others.
