Political relations
After a period of close cooperation, especially within the Non-Aligned Movement, overall relations in recent history need to be intensified, in line with the existing interest in strengthening political, economic and all other forms of cooperation.
There has been no exchange of visits for a long time, and meetings of officials are most often held at international and regional gatherings.
Economic relations
Economic cooperation takes place in trade and its scope is very modest.Према подацима РЗС, укупна робна размена са Р. Џибути у 2025. години је износила 1,1 мил. евра, од чега се целокупан износ односио на извоз из Р. Србије док је увоз изостао.
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the total trade exchange with Djibouti in 2025 amounted to €1.1 million, with the entire amount referring to exports from the Republic of Serbia, while imports were absent.
