Political relations
Political relations are traditionally good and friendly. From the very beginning of the liberation struggle, the SFRY supported Mozambique's efforts for independence.The first documentary on the struggle for the freedom of the people of Mozambique, Venceremos: We Will Win, was produced by Filmskenovosti in 1968.The then First Deputy Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Serbia, I. Dačić, visited Mozambique on 12 – 13 July 2018.
Economic relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, total trade in goods with the Republic of Mozambique in 2025 amounted to EUR 1.5 million, of which exports from the Republic of Serbia accounted for EUR 0.3 million and imports for EUR 1.2 million.
Bilateral agreements
General agreement on long-term cooperation between the Government of the SFRY and the Government of the People's Republic of Mozambique.
Effective date: 5 October 1979.
Agreement on scientific, technical and cultural cooperation between the Government of the SFRY and the Government of the People's Republic of Mozambique.
