Political relations

Relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Palau are good and have the potential for improvement in various areas.

Visit of the President of Palau, then Thomas Esang Remengesau Jr. to the Republic of Serbia was realized on 19-21 January 2019.

The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia, Vanja Udovičić visited the Republic of Palau in the period from 29 September to 4 October 2019 as a special envoy of the President of the Republic of Serbia on the occasion of celebrations celebrating the 25th anniversary of the country’s independence.  

 

Economic relations

There is potential for the development of economic cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Palau.

 

Bilateral agreements

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Youth and Sports between the Ministry Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia and Ministry of Community and Culture of the Republic of Palau, signed on 21 January 2019 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia No. 2/2019—International Agreements)

Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Serbia and Republic of Palau on Cooperation in the Field of Higher Education and Scientific Research, signed on 21 January 2019.
