The political relations between Serbia and Singapore are friendly, and although they are insufficiently politically developed, there is a stable tendency to improve overall relations.

In 2016, Singapore recognized unilateral proclamation of independence of Kosovo.

So far, there have been no meetings at the highest level, and former MFA Vuk Jeremić paid an official visit to Singapore in May 2012, when he met with the senior officials of Singapore (MFA, Minister of Transport and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee of the Government of Singapore for Defense and Foreign Affairs).

Economic relations

Trade between Serbia and Singapore during 2020 amounted to 19.63 million euros (4,46 million of our exports), while trade in 2019 amounted to 19.7 million euros, of which our exports amounted to 5.4 million euros.
