Bratislava: Ambassador Babić with the new director of the International Visegrad Fund

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Bratislava, Momčilo Babić, met with Ambassador Peter Mares, a professor at Charles University in Prague and the new director of the International Visegrad Fund.

The interlocutors exchanged information on the current cooperation between Serbia and the Visegrad Fund.

Ambassador Babić thanked the Fund for its support to Serbia as the most important factor and promoter of peace and cooperation in the Balkans and expressed hope that the cooperation between the Visegrad Group and the Fund with the Republic of Serbia will improve in the future.

Ambassador Mares conveyed his readiness to help improve the work of the Western Balkans Fund and improve the cooperation of the Visegrad Fund with the Republic of Serbia in general.

He expressed interest in visiting Serbia and giving a lecture at one of the universities, in order to present the funding opportunities provided by the Fund, with the aim of animating a larger number of students and academics to apply for projects.
