Brussels: Ambassador Tasić with the president of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Brussels, Aleksandar Tasić, met with the president of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives, Eliane Tillieux, with whom he discussed the current state of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Serbia's EU integration process and the challenges on that path were also discussed. Ambassador Tasić conveyed the expectation that Belgium will support the continuation of Serbia's European integration.
Special attention was paid to the opportunities for strengthening economic cooperation. It was said that the two countries have good parliamentary and bilateral relations, and that it is important to establish parliamentary cooperation and mutual contacts between representatives of the two parliaments.
The situation in the region and current foreign political events and challenges were also discussed.
Ambassador Tasić reiterated his invitation to president Tillieux to visit Serbia.
