Donation of 50,000 vaccines arrived in Angola

The donation of the Republic of Serbia of 50,000 vaccines against the corona virus arrived in Angola. The donation agreement was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Selaković, and the Minister of Health, Silvia Lutucuta, during his recent visit to Angola.


The donation was received at the airport in Luanda by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Franco Mufinda, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vieira Lopes, and the Ambassador of Serbia to Angola, Miloš Perišić, which was reported by numerous journalist teams.

Ambassador Perišić stated that President Aleksandar Vučić and the Government of Serbia, having in mind the friendly relations with Angola, decided that Serbia will donate vaccines to that country and pointed out that in addition to Angola, donations were sent to other African countries, which speaks of the importance and attention that our state pays to African countries.

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Franco Mufinda, thanked the Government of Serbia for the donation of vaccines, emphasizing that the help arrived at the right moment.
