Kuwait: Vidaković informed the representative of the MFA of Kuwait about Kosovo and Metohija

The Charge d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Kuwait, Sanja Vidaković, met with Naser Al-Hayen, Director of the Directorate for Europe at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with whom she discussed strengthening bilateral relations and the latest developments in northern Kosovo and Metohija.
On that occasion, Vidaković informed Ambassador Al-Hayen about the incursion of Pristina special units into the north of Kosovo and Metohija and pointed out the excessive force that was used against the Serb population.
Ambassador Al-Hayen said that the position of Kuwait is known, and that it implies finding a peaceful solution, saying that the basis for them is the UNSC Resolution 1244.
Vidaković reminded of the strong historical ties between our two countries and thanked for the fact that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, led the delegation during the recent high-level meeting marking the 60th anniversary of the first conference of the Non-Aligned Movement.
