Vienna: Feast Day of Saints Cosmas and Damian celebrated

The feast day of Saints Cosmas and Damian, patron saints of the medical profession, was celebrated today at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Vienna.
In the presence of the Ambassador of Serbia, Nebojša Rodić, Bishop Andrej of Austria and Switzerland consecrated the feast cake, in the breaking of which Serbian doctors, pharmacists, dentists and nurses took part.
Ambassador Rodić emphasized that Austria is going through a difficult epidemiological situation in which the numbers are five-digit, and stressed that in the current situation we should remember the medical staff, which has been working tirelessly since the beginning of the pandemic to save lives.
In his address to the audience, Bishop Andrej said that we are all witnessing a critical moment when we need to listen to doctors.
