Warsaw: Ambassador Košutić at the concert of the First Belgrade Singing Society

The First Belgrade Singing Society held a concert in the Cathedral of St. Mary Magdalene in Warsaw, which was attended by Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Poland Nebojša Košutić, Metropolitan of the Polish Orthodox Church Sawa, and the spiritual guardian of the choir and long-time abbot of the St. Michael's Cathedral in Belgrade, Archpriest – Stavrophor Petar Lukić.

After the concert, Metropolitan Sawa held a formal reception for all participants on the premises of the Orthodox Diocese of Warsaw.

Ambassador Košutić thanked the members of the choir for their efforts to present the values and beauty of the Orthodox spiritual music from Serbia to the Polish public. He expressed his special gratitude to Archbishop of Warsaw and Metropolitan of All Poland Sawa for the attention and care he had always dedicated to the relations with the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Serbian people as a whole, as well as for the opportunity to hold this concert in the magnificent cathedral in Warsaw. 

The First Belgrade Singing Society stayed in Poland in order to participate in the 41st Hajnówka International Festival of Orthodox Church Music. The festival has been traditionally held every year under the patronage of President of Poland Andrzej Duda.
