Bridges of cooperation between Serbia and Hungary

The talks focused on the most important aspects of bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Hungary, the situation in the Western Balkans, as well as current developments on the international stage.

Kozarev underlined that the exceptionally fruitful cooperation between Serbia and Hungary is greatly enhanced by ties strengthened at the highest level, as evidenced by the intensive communication and coordination on all major issues.

The interlocutors agreed that the bridges of cooperation between Serbia and Hungary could be further reinforced by expanding the network of colocations in the coming period, building on the existing successful model, as well as by improving the position of the Serbian minority in Hungary and the Hungarian minority in Serbia, which represent an especially important reason for strengthening our relations.

Kozarev and Balajthy also discussed issues relating to energy security and transport links, as well as models for connecting sovereigntist governments in Europe and beyond.
