Condolences on the passing away of Dr. Damjan Tatic, human rights expert

We were shocked and saddened by the news of the premature departure of Dr. Damjan Tatic, a renowned human rights expert who was recognized and held in high esteem both in the country and abroad.

Dr. Damjan Tatic actively participated in the drafting of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was honoured to support Dr. Tatic, who was elected for two terms as an expert from the Republic of Serbia on the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. With his work and contribution, Dr. Damjan Tatic left an indelible mark in the international arena when it comes to the promotion of human rights, especially the rights of persons with disabilities.
