First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić received Miroslav Lajčák

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić spoke today with the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Priština Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues Miroslav Lajčak.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić pointed out that Serbia was a constructive, committed and predictable partner when it came to the Belgrade-Priština Dialogue.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić explained that Serbia would  endure working on further alignment of the country’s visa policy with the European visa policy relative to the third countries and announced the adoption of appropriate decisions in the coming period. The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić emphasized that Serbia would continue to be a cooperative and supportive partner when it came to illegal migration.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić indicated that the Government of Serbia would endure with their dedicated work on the reform process and/or strive to increase the percentage of alignment with the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the EU.

The EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Priština Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues Miroslav Lajčak stated that the goal of the dialogue was for the two sides to reach a mutually acceptable solution. He noted that the talks within the dialogue included three levels: the normalization of relations, fulfillment of agreements already reached within the dialogue and solving ongoing issues.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the previous cooperation and expressed their willingness to continue cooperating in the future.
