Kozarev Appointed Member of Educons University High Council of Trustees

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Dušan Kozarev was appointed today as the member responsible for international affairs on the High Council of Trustees of Educons University, at the Council’s inaugural session held at the University’s headquarters in Sremska Kamenica.

Expressing his honour at becoming part of the University community, Kozarev emphasised that Educons University approaches higher education and scientific research with responsibility and dedication, thereby contributing to Serbia’s national objectives in the fields of education and science. He noted that the establishment of the High Council of Trustees represents an important step towards bringing together representatives of academia, the business community and government institutions with a view to promoting the Republic of Serbia internationally and advancing national objectives, both in education and in the respective fields represented by the Council’s members.

The inaugural session was attended by 16 members of the High Council of Trustees, including representatives of faculties, research institutes, the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, the business community and the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, as well as a judge of the Constitutional Court. The agenda covered a range of issues relevant to the further development, positioning and international promotion of Serbian education and science. On this occasion, President of the Council of Educons University Prof. Dr Aleksandar Andrejević presented the members of the High Council of Trustees with their certificates of membership.
