Kozarev confers with Minister for European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska
During the meeting, the firm commitment of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska to further deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest was reaffirmed, with particular emphasis on strengthening the regional position of the Serbian people.
Secretary-General Kozarev noted that relations between Serbia and the Republic of Srpska are characterized by strong fraternal ties grounded in a shared responsibility toward national interests. Minister Klokić particularly underscored the importance of coordination and effective cooperation in marking recent events of special significance.
It was reiterated that the Republic of Serbia consistently supports the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in full respect of the Dayton Peace Agreement and the constitutional competences of the entities.
The interlocutors exchanged views on key international issues, the process of European integration, and opportunities for further strengthening the international positions of Serbia and The Republic of Srpska. It was assessed that diplomatic activities undertaken in the previous period — particularly the engagement of President Aleksandar Vučić and Milorad Dodik, as well as representative offices and members of the diaspora — have significantly contributed to enhancing the reputation of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska and to opening new avenues for cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by Acting Director of the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region Vladimir Kokanović, Assistant Minister for European Integration and International Cooperation Nemanja Kovačević, and Head of the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Serbia Mlađen Cicović.
