Minister Dacic receives the Foreign Minister of the Central African Republic

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie and Central Africans Abroad of the Central African Republic Sylvie Baïpo-Temon, who is staying in Serbia as part of a delegation led by the President of that country, Faustin-Archange Touadéra.

In the talks, it was noted that the two countries were bound by traditional friendship, which needed to be strengthened by joint forces, especially in light of the fact that in 2025 the two countries would mark 65 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

The head of Serbian diplomacy expressed deep gratitude to the Central African Republic for its support to the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.

Minister Temon informed Minister Dacic about the current situation in her country and the region. She also pointed out the potential for the development of bilateral cooperation in the fields of energy, mining and agriculture, and invited companies from the Republic of Serbia to consider the possibility of investing in the Central African Republic.

During the cordial conversation, both sides expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation in all areas of common interest.
