Selaković: If Pristina violates its obligations, we know what to do

Belgrade is committed to refraining from the so-called "unrecognition" of the independence of Kosovo campaign, and will remain committed, but if the obligations are violated on the other side, we know what to do, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selaković today.

Asked whether it is true that a dozen countries are ready to withdraw their decisions on the recognition of Kosovo, if Pristina starts the process of re-recognition, Selaković answered that Belgrade is a loyal and responsible partner when it comes to what was agreed on.

"The Washington Agreement established an agreement that Belgrade would not run an 'unrecognition' campaign, and that Pristina would not apply for membership in international organizations or run a new recognition campaign. We are sticking to our obligation and we will stick to it, but if it is violated on the other side, we know what to do", Selaković said in Nis.

He reminded that the President of Serbia also said that no one should underestimate our power and strength, because we are calm and doing our job, we are silent and we do not wave much.

"What is clear to everyone is that when you agree on something with Belgrade, it is fulfilled and it will be like that in the future as well", Selaković added.
