Starović talked with the Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Today in Rome, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nemanja Starović met with Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ettore Francesco Secchi, with whom he discussed the improvement of bilateral cooperation, Serbia's EU perspective, and the situation in the Western Balkans.
Both State Secretary Starović and Secretary General Secchi believed that it was important to work on further strengthening the cooperation between the two countries, and State Secretary Starović especially thanked Italy for its strong support for Serbia's EU integration.
State Secretary Starović and Secretary General Secchi also agreed that preserving peace and stability in the Western Balkans was essential, and Secretary General Secchi said that a more intensive work was needed to overcome open issues and to strength regional cooperation.
