Đurić Meets with Tanzania’s Foreign Minister
Minister Đurić emphasised that Serbia is committed to revitalising and strengthening relations with all African countries, while attaching particular importance to advancing cooperation with Tanzania.
The two sides expressed mutual satisfaction with the opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Tanzania, which was assessed as an important step towards establishing a broader partnership.
Briefing his interlocutor on the difficult situation faced by the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, Đurić reiterated that Serbia remains firmly committed to upholding international law and respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of independent states.
With regard to economic cooperation, the interlocutors agreed that there is mutual interest in strengthening it and that the areas of common interest offering the greatest potential for further progress include agriculture, the food industry, tourism and education.
Đurić expressed his satisfaction with the confirmation of Tanzania’s participation in Expo 2027, voicing his confidence that this African country will be presented in the best possible manner during the event.
