Minister Selaković received the best students from Negotin and Mionica

A group of valedictorians from Negotin and Mionica currently in Belgrade in order to attend the celebration of 15th September – the Day of the Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag, visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia today.

The students were received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Selaković, who showed them his office and introduced them to the history of the institution and lives of great people of the Serbian diplomacy as well as the valuable collection of works of art displayed at the premises of the MFA.

On the occasion of today’s holiday, Selaković discussed with students the heraldry and the origin of the Serbian tricolor, asking them to love their flag and be proud of it and glorious Serbian history.

“I wish you to have your dreams and to try and realize those dreams. Serbia is your home and it can be better only if you by learning and working for it contribute to that”, said Selaković expressing the hope that some of today’s guests upon the completion of their studies will have the opportunity to be a part of the future Serbian diplomacy.

Students of elementary and high schools from Negotin and Mionica had the opportunity to see also the Museum of the Serbian diplomacy and today, within the visit to Belgrade, among other things, they will visit the Temple Saint Sava.
