The head of Serbian diplomacy said that he expected Slovenia, as the presiding country of the EU Council, to remain consistent in supporting the EU enlargement to the Western Balkans, emphasizing that he extremely appreciated all the help it has provided us in the European integration process so far.

At the meeting, the possibilities for further improvement of economic cooperation were also discussed, which is recording constant growth in the areas of trade and investment.

The conversation was also an opportunity to exchange opinions on the position of the Serbian community in Slovenia.

Minister Selaković informed the Speaker of the Slovenian Parliament about the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, reminding that Belgrade is fully committed to the normalization of relations with Pristina and advocating compromise solutions that will be sustainable and applicable, but also warned of non-implementation and increasingly frequent violations of the Brussels Agreement by Pristina.
