HEALTH SITUATION — Current information on the health situation in Antigua and Barbuda can be found on the World Health Organization website: https://www.who.int/countries/atg/.

Healthcare is far below the standards of Europe and the United States of America. Travel insurance is required. Travellers should be aware of the following health risks: Zika virus, Lyme disease, diarrhoea, Dengue fever.

SECURITY SITUATION Antigua and Barbuda do not have high crime rates. Caution is advised, because burglaries and other serious crimes occur. There is no great danger for tourists if they follow basic precautionary measures.

TRANSPORT — Public transport is provided by taxis and minibuses. It should be noted that only officially registered vehicles are used, as well as that the price of the ride is agreed in advance. Caution is needed, because the drivers may try to extort more money than the agreed amount.

To drive, Serbian citizens need to obtain a local, temporary driver’s licence, in addition to carrying their national driver's licence. The temporary licence is issued on request and on the basis of a foreign (Serbian) driver's licence. Driving is on the left side of the road.

OTHER INFORMATION — The official currency of Antiqua and Barbuda is the East Caribbean dollar (EC$).
