FDPM and MFA Dačić attends inauguration of the President of Türkiye Erdogan

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dačić, attended today the inauguration of the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, as envoy of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

“The inauguration was attended by many dignitaries at various levels, from heads of state and government to ministers of foreign affairs and presidents of parliaments. Of course, this is all for the purpose of developing our bilateral relations, which are developing in a good direction with Turkey. In this sense, we expect that in the next President Erdoğan’s mandate, our relations will be better at all levels, from the political level to the economic, cultural, tourism and all other ties that we have been developing successfully in recent decades,” said the head of Serbian diplomacy.

Minister Dačić availed himself of the opportunity to meet and talk with a number of his colleagues. Among the many world officials who attended the ceremony in Ankara were NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro, heads of many countries from Africa, the Middle East East and from Asia.

“All in all, this was a significant day for our country, because we were present at a place where a large number of world officials gathered,” concluded Dačić.
